In TruckLogics, you can choose to create FTL/LTL loads based on your shipping needs. The FTL and LTL are the two ground freight options available for you to ship the loads.
Choose Less than Truckload (LTL) when you need to add multiple small loads from multiple customers in a single dispatch.
Choose Full Truckload (FTL) when you have enough loads to fill a full truckload or have a partial load, but you prefer a dedicated truck.
Here’s how to create a Truck load:
From the Dashboard, go to Add New >> Load.
Choose the load type, FTL (Full Truckload)/LTL (Less than Truckload), and click Continue.
Enter a Load Number manually or generate one automatically for the load (based on preference set).
Enter details of Customer/Carrier/Broker, Shipper, Consignee, Freight Details, and Charges.
Enter the trip miles manually or calculate the miles using ProMiles or Google Maps.
Click Create Load.
Once a load is created, you can create a dispatch for the load. If it is an LTL load, you may link it to an existing dispatch.
TruckLogics also provides you with an option tosave your unfinished loads as Draft Loads, which you can choose to complete later based on your need. The saved draft loads can be found under Loads >> Draft loads in your TruckLogics account.
