Invoices can be generated from a load or dispatch. Factored Invoices may be created by associating the invoice to a factoring company. You can manage the invoices from Accounts >> Invoices. Filter them by providing duration, Customer/Broker/Carrier name, from and to date range, etc. Also, you can export these invoices to your QuickBooks account or an excel file.
Below are a few things you can do in TruckLogics:
Search Invoices
Here, you can search for any customer invoice by just entering the invoice number under Accounts >> Invoices. The search shows key invoice details, including invoice date, to whom it is billed, due date, total amount, current status, and more. To further filter your list, you can also search by total amount, due date, and customer name.
Standalone Invoices
You can create and generate standalone invoices for a customer under Accounts >> Invoices.
Emailed Invoices
If you send an invoice via email to your customers from your TruckLogics account, the invoices automatically move to Accounts >> Invoices >> Emailed Invoices.
Paid Invoices
If your customer pays the total amount of the invoice to you, those paid invoices can be viewed under Accounts >> Invoices >> Paid Invoices.
Partially Paid Invoices
If your customer has paid you with a partial amount from the total outstanding balance due, you can view these invoices under Accounts >> Invoices >> Partially Paid Invoices.
Voided Invoices
If you need to cancel a particular payment or invoice, you can void them, and you can view these voided invoices under Accounts >> Invoices >> Voided Invoices. The status will be automatically set to 'Voided,' and you will no longer be available to record payments or include in your customer's balance due.
All Invoices
Here, you can view all types of invoices, including drafted, finalized, paid, partially paid, and more under Accounts >> Invoices >> All Invoices. You can filter the invoices by each status.
Invoice Aging Report
This report will show you the total receivables that are on, before, or past due invoices. You can view the receivables and payment history of each billed customer. The report generated will be of the current date and can be viewed under Accounts >> Invoices >> Aging Report.
Receive Payments
You can record payments received from your customers under Accounts >> Receive Payments. You can view payments due from multiple invoices associated with a single customer and can opt to record in full payment or selected ones.
