TruckLogics users can instantly import the trucks from the Motive account into TruckLogics. Then they can assign them to dispatches and include them for IFTA reporting.
You can add trucks from Motive into TruckLogics by associating and importing the truck information. The information includes unit number, make, model, and more.
If you already have the same trucks you try to import from Motive, then you can associate them with the ones in Motive here. Association of trucks avoids adding duplicate truck data.
- If there are similar trucks in TruckLogics, then it will get associated automatically. You can also manually associate the Motive trucks with the TruckLogics trucks using the dropdown and import.
- If there are no trucks to associate, then select the trucks and click Import to create them in TruckLogics based on the information in Motive.
Pulls Distance and Fuel Data
Once associated, the distance data will be pulled from Motive. The fuel data will be pulled from TruckLogics by default. If there is no fuel data saved in TruckLogics for the Motive imported trucks, then click Import from Motive to pull fuel data from Motive.
IFTA tax is calculated based on the distance and fuel data pulled.
