You can pay the heavy vehicle use tax (HVUT) by any of the below options while e-filing Form 2290 in TruckLogics:

Electronic Funds Withdrawal (EFW) - Choose EFW to pay HVUT taxes immediately. You have to provide your checking or savings account information for the IRS to withdraw money from your account.

Electronic Federal Tax Payment System (EFTPS) - It's your responsibility to visit their portal www.EFTPS.gov to make the payment. Payments made through EFTPS should generally be made one day before the tax payment due date for the transactions to happen on time. For more information about EFTPS or to enroll in EFTPS, visit the EFTPS website at EFTPS.gov, or call 800-555-4477.

Check or Money Order - Send in Check or Money Order payable to the United States Treasury. Mail the check with voucher 2290-V to the following address:

Internal Revenue Service
P.O.Box 932500,
Louisville,
KY 40293-2500.

The IRS does not accept HVUT payment through credit/debit cards at the moment. Payment of HVUT through credit/debit card is expected to resume from January 1, 2021.
