How to send the dispatches from TruckLogics to Motive?

If you are a Motive customer, you can send the dispatches you create in TruckLogics to your Motive account. In order to do so:

• You must have linked your Motive account with TruckLogics.
• You must have provisioned your Motive account to use this feature. For provisioning, you can reach out to either the Motive support team. (This feature is available only when you have opted for the enterprise package in motive. Provisioning additionally requires you to set up forms.

Once provisioned, you can follow the below steps to send your dispatches to Motive:

Note: Only the dispatches created using the ‘Quick Dispatch’ method can be sent to Motive.

Step 1: Go to the ‘Dispatches’ menu >> Click ‘Create Dispatch’.

Step 2: You will get a popup window as shown below. To create a quick dispatch in that, select ‘Create Dispatch without referring to the Loads’ and click ‘Continue’. 

Step 3: Provide the Shipper, Consignee, and other required details.

Step 4: You can then the other required details, such as Freight details, charges, deductions, etc.

Step 5: If you have imported the drivers and trucks from Motive already, you can choose and assign any of them for dispatch. If you haven't added yet, you can import the drivers and trucks from Motive and then assign them for dispatch.

Step 6: At the bottom of the page, check the ‘Yes, Send my dispatch to Motive’.

Step 7: In order to send your dispatch to Motive, you must select the forms to be used by the drivers against the shipper and consignee. For more detailed information about these forms, you can contact the Motive support.

Step 8: Select ‘Create Dispatch’ to complete the dispatch creation. The dispatch will be sent to Motive and will reflect under your reports and under Dispatches (for your drivers). 

Please note that any changes you make to the dispatches in TruckLogics after sending them to Motive will not reflect in Motive.
