How can an IFTA report be obtained in TruckLogics?

To stay in a trucking business and be compliant with the law, a fleet or truck owner must adhere to several rules and regulations that govern the roads. One such important and often confusing regulation is IFTA reporting.

The IFTA report can be generated in TruckLogics for each quarter based on the distance your vehicles traveled and the fuel-ups on the trips. You can generate the report either using the data from Dispatches or from your Motive account.

Dispatches:

In this mode, the fuel-up and distance data required for your IFTA report generation will be pulled from your TruckLogics account.

Motive:

Users with the Motive account have the option to pull the information stored in the ELD devices fitted in their vehicles.

If the fuel Ups are not captured in Motive, the option to import only the distance traveled is also available. (The Fuel Ups can be maintained in TruckLogics and used for IFTA report generation).

Based on your base jurisdiction, distance traveled, and fuel-ups, the IFTA report will be generated and available for download.
