In TruckLogics, to create a load quickly, you can first add clients, brokers, and carriers to your accounts before attempting to generate a load.

You can choose to create FTL/LTL loads based on your shipping needs.

Here’s how to create a Truck load:

Step 1:

There are two possible ways to create a load in TruckLogics.

      (a) In Dashboard, go to ‘Add New’  >> Click ‘Load’.

      (b) Go to ‘Loads’ menu >> Click ‘New Loads’.

Step 2:

Choose the load type, FTL (Full Truckload) / LTL (Less than Truckload), and click ‘Continue’.

Step 3:

Choose to enter the load number manually or generate one automatically for the load (You can set the default preferences in Load settings as well. Just navigate to Settings >> Load >> Load Number).

Step 4:

Choose the Customer / Carrier / Broker from the list. If you are adding for the first time, you can add the details directly by clicking the ‘Add' button. Then, select the load creation Date and time.

Step 5:

Add the shipper, consignee, pickup, drop off locations, and the date and time of each.

Optional: You can add pickup or delivery instructions and contact person details to help the driver with any queries related to pickup and delivery.

Step 6:
Add the freight details (for BOL purposes) and equipment (trailer) for the load if required.

Step 7:

Add details about the charges and discount if applicable. (You can set the default values for these charges in Settings >> Load >> Load Charges).

Step 8:

Choose whether the trip miles should be estimated manually, using ProMiles, or Google Maps.

Step 9:

Click ‘Create Load’ to complete creating your load.

After creating a load, you can create a dispatch or generate the invoice based on your requirements. If you want to make changes to the load, you can make changes by clicking ‘Edit Load’ under ‘Loads’ section.

You can also click ‘Save as draft’ to save unfinished loads, which can be chosen to complete later based on the need. The saved draft loads can be found under Loads >> Draft loads in your TruckLogics account.
