How to add fuel and distance data using Quick entry?

TruckLogics offers multiple options to import fuel and distance data for IFTA report generation.

Step 1:
From the IFTA Dashboard, Choose Tax Year, and click ‘Get Started’ under the respective IFTA Quarter.
Step 2:
Select the trucks you need to file the IFTA report and click ‘Next’.
Step 3:
Click ‘Continue’ against the Quick entry option in the popup displayed.
Step 4:
Click the ‘Add ’ button under the Actions column against the respective truck to start entering data.
Step 5:
Choose the trip month and provide the trip details for the quarter. You can choose to enter the trip sheet by odometer reading or distance.
- Odometer - Based on the odometer start and end readings, the distance traveled will be calculated.
- Distance - Enter the distance traveled by truck manually.
Choose the method you prefer, and start entering the details.
Step 6:
You will find the list of dates in the month you have selected. You can enter the trip details against the respective dates one by one for each state where the truck has traveled.
If you need to make multiple entries for the same date, click on the + icon near the date and add another row.
After completing the trip details for the month, you can switch to the next month and enter the details in the same way.
Once all the required details are entered, click ‘Continue’ to proceed.
Step 7:
You will be redirected to the Import Distance and Fuel Data page. From there, you can enter the fuel and distance data for the remaining trucks one by one in the same way.
Once done, click ‘Next’ to proceed further.
After calculating the IFTA tax due using the distance and fuel data for each vehicle, along with any applicable penalties and credits, your IFTA report will be available for download.
