When it comes to generating your quarterly IFTA reports, it’s important to make sure that you accurately enter the distance traveled and fuel purchased in each jurisdiction. To make it easy, TruckLogics offers Samsara users the convenience of importing trucks and trip details, including mileage and fuel expenses, directly into their TruckLogics account. Then, clients can quickly and easily generate IFTA reports with the data.

Here’s how to import your distance and fuel data from Samsara:

Step 1:

First, select the truck(s) you want to file an IFTA Report for and click “Next”.

Step 2:

TruckLogics offers four different ways to import distance and fuel data:

Upload Data in Bulk: Use the TruckLogics IFTA Excel template to bulk upload data.
Quick Entry: Manually enter your data for each truck.
Pull data from Motive: Import data from a connected Motive account.
Pull data from Samsara: Import data from a connected Samsara account.

To import distance and fuel data from your Samsara account, simply select “Continue” next to “Pull data from Samsara”.

Step 3:

The distance & fuel data will be imported, and you can view the jurisdiction traveled and gallons purchased before proceeding. When you’re ready, click “Next” to finish generating your IFTA report.
